702 - Today we continued to work on using the textbook to research information about Early European Explorers, Jacques Cartier and Samuel de Champlain. 

Homework: The research questions and map are due on Monday. The textbook can be found in the D2L Gr.7 Core Shell in Links (Our Canada Textbook Ch.2).

You ecological foot print assignment is to be completed by Monday.  You can find a copy of the assignment here. If you are doing the assignment digitally please submit your final copy to the dropbox on D2L.

701 - Today we discussed reasons for Early European Exploration. We learned about exploring for the purpose of becoming rich - GOLD! We focused on the Mercantile Cycle. This Mercantile Cycle puzzle is due tomorrow for homework!

702- Today students worked on the skill of reading for information. They read about Jacques Cartier and collected information about why  he was exploring, who he met, and what his experiences were.
 Homework --> Complete research on Jacques Cartier on the chart paper provided today in class.
