“Today in science class, we dissected an owl pellet and discovered
many different bones. We also discovered
that an owl can eat as many as 5 rodents in half a day. We found rodents or
birds inside the owl pellet with almost all of bones intact. We also found that
the owl would ball up the pellet with the bones on the inside and all the hair
on the outside. The class was afraid we would get diseases but we figured that
they went into an incinerator type thing to disinfect them.”
